A New Realm for Adventurers in Wadena, MN.
Fantasy Market
A Physical Place for Fantasy Friends
What is the Market?
Fantasy Market is a physical space for adventurers, collectors of strange little joys, and people who prefer wonder over routine. A real world stop for wandering minds and anyone who still believes everyday life can hold a little more magic.
Inside the Market you will find BlackMagickards, a dedicated game shop for trading cards and Magic the Gathering. You can also step into the Bleating Bard "Tavern", a Dungeons and Dragons themed fantasy faux-tavern that serves as a guild hall for our G.O.A.T. adventurers.
Beyond gaming, Fantasy Market hosts events, parties, and creative gatherings, with plans to grow into craft classes, skill based workshops, and community experiences. We also offer themed events, backyard rentals, selfie stations, and other immersive setups designed to bring a little fantasy into real celebrations.
The Market is still young. It grows and is shaped directly by its community. We want to listen to what people want to see here, because that is what determines what gets built next.
If you support the Market, the Market supports you. Membership helps keep it alive, expanding, and able to offer more of what the community asks for in joy, play, and connection.
Come explore, stay a while, and see what the Market becomes with you in it.

Peddle your Wares
Yeah, it is.
It takes a whole lot of hobbying to fill a booth and make it worth the fee, the travel, the time, and the sheer energy of doing it all day.
If you’ve got a growing pile of whimsical, nerdy, sci-fi, or fairytale-type crafterpieces that feel like they belong in our Fantasy Market we want to see them.
If you’ve picked up something cool along the way and want to teach it, we’re also looking for people to run craft and skill-based classes in the space.
Head over to BlackMagikards’ counter for that side of things.
Curated Contributions
Fantasy Market is not only a community space in intention, it is physically shaped by it. Many of the items inside are sourced from people who are passionate about the space and what it represents.
We take a small, curated selection of items for the Market based on what fits the atmosphere, the experience, and the kind of discovery we want people to feel when they walk in.
Right now, we are especially interested in things like:
Board games and tabletop games for all ages
Whimsical wall shelves and fantasy-style decor
Unique furniture (tables, small pieces with character)
Spooky, Halloween, or photo prop-type items
Weird, fun, slightly magical things we didn’t know we needed yet
If you’ve got something sitting in a closet that feels like it belongs in a tavern, a game lounge, or a tiny fairy market & you’d rather see it out in the world being used and enjoyed...
We’ll probably be interested.

Your support is a way to shape the Market as it's being built. It helps keep the space open, keeps events accessible, and allows us to keep building new experiences for the community.
The Market exists because you choose to support it.
The Market comes from someone who grew up here and never really stopped thinking about what this place could hold. Over time, that turned into a vision for something more joyful, more creative, and more rooted in community experience.
From the beginning, Tess & Joey intended for this to become a community hub supported by the people who use it. Not as a requirement, but as a shared choice to keep a space like this alive and evolving in the real world.
When you become a member, you are not just buying access. You are helping decide that a place like this gets to exist in the real world and keep evolving into something shaped by the people who make the magic.
The goal is not to make something exclusive. It is to make something sustainable, shaped over time by the people who help it thrive.
